DID YOU KNOW that the way = the path = the course of life (lifestyle)?
In our investigation, let’s begin with Psalm 27:11, “Teach me Your way, YHVH, and lead me in a level path because of those who watch me.”
teach (Heb. #3384): to point out, show; to direct, teach, instruct.
way (Heb. #1870): course of life.
lead (Heb. #5148): to lead, guide, or bring.
path (Heb. #734): way, path, road, the path, way, (fig.) passing of life, way of living, traveler, or wayfarer.
level (Heb. #4334): level place, uprightness.
uprightness (Heb. #3474): be just, be lawful, to esteem right.
those who watch me (Heb. #8324): (qal.) to be an enemy.
Now, by using the definitions, Psalm 27:11 is saying: Instruct me in Your course of life, YHVH, and guide me in a just and lawful path, because of my enemies who watch me.
Are you beginning to see how important it is to study the meanings of the words and not blindly accept the surface words chosen by the translators?
Next, we will look for similar verses that will magnify our understanding.
The Way of Righteousness
Psalm 5:8, “Lead me in Your righteousness, because of my enemies; make straight Your way before me.”
2 Peter 2:21, “For it was better for them not to have recognized the way of righteousness than having recognized it to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.”
Walk in the Way
Exodus 18:20, “And you warn them as to the statutes and the laws, and make known to them the way in which they should walk and the work which they should do.”
Deuteronomy 6:6-7, “And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart. And you shall teach them to your sons, and shall speak of them as you sit in your house, and as you walk in the way, and as you are lying down and as you are rising up.”
Teach the Way
Luke 20:21, “Then they turned to Him, saying, ‘Rabbi, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism but teach the way of Elohim.’ ”
Genesis 18:19, “For I have known him (Abraham), so that whatever he may command his sons and his house after him, even they may keep the way of YHVH, to do righteousness and justice; to the intent that YHVH may bring on Abraham that which He has spoken of him.”
Do Not Forsake the Way
Deuteronomy 11:26-28, “Behold! I set before you today a blessing and a curse: blessing if you hear the commandments of YHVH Elohekka which I command you today; and a curse if you will not hear (sh’mah = hear and obey) the commandments of YHVH Elohekka, but will turn aside out of the way which I command you today . . .”
Matthew 10:5, “Y’hoshua sent these twelve out, charging them, saying: ‘Do not go into the way (the lifestyle) of the goyim . . . ‘ “

Training Requires Discipline
Proverbs 15:10, “Discipline is grievous to him who forsakes the way, he who hates reproof shall die.”
Hebrews 12:11-13, “And all discipline for the present indeed does not seem to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it gives back peaceable fruit of righteousness to the ones having been exercised by it. Because of this, straighten the hands hanging alongside, and the enfeebled knees; and make straight paths for your feet, that the lame not be turned aside, but rather healed.”
Walk in the Torah
Psalm 119:1, “ . . . Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of YHVH.”
Acts 24:14, “But I confess this to you that according to the Way, which they say is a sect, so I worship the ancestral Elohim believing all things according to that having been written in the Torah and the Prophets.”
In John 14:4, Y’hoshua the Messiah told His disciples, “And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Y’hoshua paid the ransom which, when accepted, will break the curse that generation upon generation of His people, the lost sheep of the house of Israel, brought upon themselves by choosing the way of the goyim over the way of YHVH.
The goyim, the ones who led astray the people of YHVH, can also be forgiven. If they turn from their wicked ways and join with the one and only flock, YHVH will become Elohahem (their El) to them, and they will become sons to Him.
The Way of YHVH has never changed.
